  • Q - Do ProDough products contain dairy?

    • A - The whey protein isolate used in our mixes contains 0.2% lactose.

 

  • Q - Do ProDough products need to be refrigerated?

    • A - The dry mixes can be stored in the pantry, but once prepared, all of our products must be refrigerated. Every ProDough mix contains zero preservatives, so store any extras in a tightly sealed container inside of your refrigerator for best results.

 

  • Q - How many cakes does the Microwavable Protein Cake & Glaze Mix make?

    • A - Every box of our Microwavable Protein Cake & Glaze Mix comes with 2 cake mixes & 2 glaze mixes, allowing you to make 2 cakes.

 

  • Q - How many donuts does one box of the Donut Mix make?

    • A - All of our Protein Donut Mixes will make 6 donuts, & the provided Glaze Mix will make enough glaze to generously cover all 6 donuts.

 

  • Q - What’s the best way to cook the Microwavable Cakes?

    • A - It's best to use a microwave-safe mug or small bowl. If you decide to add peanut butter, increase cook time by 15-45 seconds (cook time may vary by microwave).

 

  • Q - Can I replace ingredients if I don’t have them or just use water?

    • A - For best results (& best taste), follow the instructions on the back of the box. You can always add extras like fruit, nuts, or chocolate chips to make it your own, but we strongly advise against replacing or removing any of the wet ingredients.

 

  • Q - Is it better to use applesauce or pumpkin puree when making the Donuts and/or muffins?

    • A - For best results, use pumpkin puree. If you don’t have any available, applesauce can be used in its place — pumpkin puree will just provide the best taste & texture. With our vanilla products, the pumpkin puree will also give it that beautiful golden brown appearance.

 

  • Q - Which ProDough mixes are gluten free?

    • A - Other than our Deluxe Edition Mixes, everything that leaves our Protein Bakeshop is gluten free, made with zero preservatives & contains no added sugar. The reason we chose gluten free is to help with digestion & improve gut health.

 

  • Q - Are there any allergens in your mixes, & what are the “spices” listed in the ingredients?

    • A - Our mixes contain coconut. As far as the spices, some of our products contain nutmeg & cinnamon.

 

  • Q - How much sugar is in your mixes?

    • A - We do not use sugar in any of our products, we use monk fruit.

 

Subscription FAQs

  • Q - I’m having trouble logging into, or accessing, my subscription account for my current subscription products or monthly Protein Bake Box, what should I do?
    • A - You can access it through your store account login - if you don’t have a registered account, just create one using the same email address used at checkout. Then when you’re logged in, just click on the Manage Subscriptions link.
    • A - You can also access your account using a direct link to the customer portal. This link is normally sent in the Subscription Confirmation email when you begin a subscription, & the Upcoming Order email.

 

  • Q - How do I skip a delivery of my subscription?
  1. Login to your customer portal to adjust the order date:
  2. Click Subscriptions and then click on Edit
  3. You will be taken to a page where you can edit the next order date for your subscription. 
  4. Once you select the new charge date you can click on the Update next shipment date.

 

  • Q - How do I cancel a subscription?
    • In order to cancel your subscription, you will first need to log in to your account.
  1. Login to your customer portal.
  2. Click Subscriptions and Edit.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Cancel Subscription. If required provide a cancellation reason and confirm the cancellation by clicking Proceed.
