Updated Recipe/Instructions for Salted Caramel Protein Donut Mix


HIGH-PROTEIN DONUT MIX

DONUT INGREDIENTS ( † Not included)
- protein donut dry mix
- ½ cup egg whites †
- 3 tbsp milk †
- 2 tsp vanilla extract †
- 3 tbsp pumpkin puree †

INSTRUCTIONS

PREHEAT oven to 325°. Generously grease donut pan & set aside

BEAT egg whites for 2 min on high speed until stiff, then add vanilla extract, milk, & pumpkin puree & beat for 1 min on low/medium speed. Finally, add the provided donut dry mix, & use a spatula to combine wet & dry ingredients - DO NOT OVER-MIX

EVENLY distribute batter into donut pan wells & smooth the batter. Place pan in oven & bake for 13 min if pan is metal, 18 min if pan is silicone - do not over-bake or donuts will come out dry (check readiness with toothpick). Take donuts out of oven, remove from pan, & let cool completely on a cooling rack (bake time may vary by oven)

GLAZE MIX

GLAZE INGREDIENTS ( † Not included)

- Included glaze mix
- 2 tbsp milk †
- 1 tsp vanilla extract †
- provided caramel pearls

- chocolate drizzle packet
- 2 tsp milk †
- ½ tsp vanilla extract †

INSTRUCTIONS

COMBINE the provided glaze mix with 2 tbsp milk & 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix for about 3-4 min on a low/medium speed, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed, until you have a completely smooth consistency

GLAZE the tops & sides of donuts with a spoon or spatula

TOP donuts with provided caramel pearls & allow the glaze to set

COMBINE the chocolate drizzle with 2 tsp milk & ½ tsp vanilla extract in a small bowl & stir until smooth

USING a piping bag or plastic baggie with a corner cut off, drizzle the chocolate over the donuts & allow them to set for a couple minutes (if you can wait that long)
