Peppermint Mocha with Iced Mocha Whey

Starbucks Copycat: Peppermint Mocha with Iced Mocha Whey

Peppermint Mocha

1 scoop Prodough Iced Mocha Whey
1-2 shots espresso, or ¼ cup strong coffee
12 oz milk of choice
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/8 tsp peppermint extract
Chocolate Candied Rim (optional)
¼ cup dark chocolate melting chips
2 peppermint candies, crushed
Garnish (optional)
Whipped cream

1. Add chocolate melting chips to a microwave safe dish. Microwave in 10 second
intervals, stirring between each round, until melted. Crush the cadies with a mortar and pestle, or place in a bag and smash with a rolling pin until they are finely crushed.
2. Dip your mug in the melted chocolate, and then carefully roll the rim in the crushed candies.
3. Add milk of choice to a small saucepan over medium heat. Just before boiling, remove from heat. Add maple syrup, peppermint extract, and Iced Mocha Whey protein powder.
4. Whisk until frothy, and the whey is fully dissolved. Pull your espresso shot(s).
5. Pour the milk mixture into your prepped mug and top with espresso. Top with optional whipped cream and remaining crushed peppermint candies. Enjoy!
