Protein Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough Bites
Ingredients
2 scoops of Prodough Snickerdoodle Cookie Whey
¾ cup almond flour
⅓ cup almond butter
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 tsp cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
2 tbsp cane sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine whey, almond flour, almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until a cohesive dough forms. Cover, and chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Note: if your almond butter is thick and solid, we recommend microwaving it for about 8-12 seconds to soften it for easier mixing.
- Combine the cinnamon and sugar mixture in a small bowl.
- Once the dough is chilled, use a tablespoon to scoop the dough and form into balls. Roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat. Repeat until all of the dough is used. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
