Vanilla Protein Ice Cream with Caramelized Bananas

Vanilla Protein Ice Cream with Caramelized Bananas 🍌 🍦

Ingredients
Caramelized Bananas
2 large bananas
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup walnuts
1 tbsp brown sugar
Dash of cinnamon
Pinch sea salt

Vanilla Protein Ice Cream
1 scoop ProDough Vanilla Whey
2 cups milk of choice
2 tbsp sugar free instant vanilla pudding mix
Directions:
Prepare the base. Add whey, milk of choice, and pudding mix to the CREAMi™ Pint. Using an electric mixer with one whisk attached, blend until the whey and pudding mix is completely dissolved, and the mixture is aerated. Cover and freeze until solid.
Remove pint from freezer and let sit for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. Add the pint to the CREAMi™
While the ice cream softens, prepare the caramelized bananas. Slice the bananas in half widthwise, and then in half again lengthwise.
Preheat a skillet with butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pinch of salt, and mix until the sugar dissolves in the butter. Add the bananas to the pan, and cook for 2 minutes, flip, and continue cooking until the bananas are softened, and the butter and sugar mixture is sticky and coating the bananas. Remove from the heat.
Blend the ice cream. Select full and ice cream to process. Re-spin as needed until the base is silky smooth and creamy.
Note: re-spin with a splash of milk if needed!

Serve the warm bananas with a scoop of ice cream, and enjoy!
